Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Underprivileged By SCCHCS
In the month of September 2019 a Team from Southern Suburbs Hindu Cultural Society (SSHCS) , came to Arusha, Tanzania on a mission to raise funds for the underprivileged. They had partnered with Smile Foundation to do cleft palate and burn wounds surgeries and also to do cataract eye surgeries as well as to donate wheelchairs.
It was an absolute pleasure in meeting the awesome team members , Naresh, Rohit, Hemisha, Dr Arno and Payal who showed great courage and determination to scale the peak and reach the top on the Kilimanjaro Mountain which is the highest free standing mountain in the world.
Everyone on the team except Rohit had to stop after reaching the second camp which was approximately 3860 meters (60 %) due to the prevailing health conditions such as lung disease , diabetes and high blood pressure. As it was aTeam Mission , it was successful as they reached the top.
NEVER GIVE UP AND NEVER GIVE IN.
